History.
BigHit Music, which produced BTS and TOMORROW X TOGETHER, has held global auditions every year since
2018 to find global talents who will become the star of the global music market.

2018
Auditions were held in 6 cities starting with Los Angeles (US) and Vancouver (Canada) on October
6th, Atlanta (US), Toronto (Canada) on the 13th, New York (US) on the 20th, and Hong Kong on
November 4th.
Positions were divided into five categories: vocal, rap, dance, acting, and modeling.

Auditions were held in 8 cities, which is more diverse than the previous year, starting with New
York on May 18th, Toronto (Canada) on May 25th, Beijing (China) on July 6th, Shanghai (China) on
July 7th, Taiwan on the 13th, Sydney (Australia), Bangkok (Thailand) on October 5th, and Hong
Kong on the 13th.
2020
Applicants were asked to send content that showed their potential as an artist without a
particular format, and the final candidates were selected through the first and second rounds of
online screening.

2021
Auditions were held through online applications and screening from October 18 to December 20,
2021.
These were online auditions open to any male born in 2002 or later, regardless of their place of residence or nationality. Positions were divided into four categories: vocals, rap, dance, and producing.

The 2022 Global Auditions were held simultaneously online and in person.
The online applications and screening were held from June to September, and the offline auditions were held in 6 cities, starting with Los Angeles, followed by Toronto, Sydney, Bangkok, Tokyo, and Seoul.
Any male born in 2002 or later was eligible to participate, regardless of his country of residence or nationality. All positions that demonstrate the applicant's potential as a singer were accepted.

The 2023 Global Audition sought male applicants born in 2005 or later, with online registration and screening running from August 11 to September 22.

Global in-person auditions were held across 17 regions, from Hawaii to Seoul, alongside an online audition.
Spanning approximately four months from May to September, the campaign carried the message, “FROM A SINGLE DROP TO THE BIG WAVE,” focusing on males born in 2006 or later.

Korea’s first-ever hip-hop audition,
HIT IT has produced many renowned rappers, including BTS’s SUGA, Loco, and i11evn.
Originally structured as an audition or competition, HIT IT was reimagined as a training program and relaunched under the name “HIT IT BASE” in 2021.

Applicants were asked to rap to a set beat to enter.
Online preliminaries were held through Daum TV Pot and offline preliminaries in five cities, and the final round was held as a tournament-style rap battle performance.

the winners were announced after the main and final rounds.
The finals consisted of the performances of the top 10 finalists.
